She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sam Burns and Faye Taylor Burns Evans. She is survived by: her sisters, Sandra Burns Oxner and Rebecca "Becky" Burns Garrick (Donald); her nieces and nephews, Katie James (Michael), Hope Odom (Kevin), Jay Oxner (Belinda) and Wesley Garrick (Melanie); and her aunt June Force.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home – Newberry (1704 College St, Newberry, SC 29108).
