It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Snelgrove (Newberry, South Carolina), born in Leesville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Arthur and Bessie Lee Derrick Snelgrove; his children, Billy Ray Snelgrove and Sherry S. Zalewski; his great grandchildren, Asa and Wyatt Bouknight; and his grandson-in-law D. J. Bedenbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Snelgrove, Jr. (Wendy) of Newberry, Dean Snelgrove (Donna) of Prosperity, Barbara Kinard (Les) of Prosperity and Peggy Hendrix (Hal) of Newberry; and his sister Janice Hite of Leesville. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 8 step-great-grandchildren.
