He is survived by: his close friend Gwendolyn Duckett; his children, Comada Duckett-Holmes (Wilbert, Jr.), Tawanda Sligh (Jamel) of Newberry, SC and Ryan Hawkins (Nakisha) of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Janell Alexander (Daniel) of Newberry, SC, Linda Ruff of Newberry, SC, Pamela Gray of Newberry, SC, Michael Ruff (Doris) of Laurens, SC, Wilson Ruff, III, George Ruff (Pamela) of Newberry, SC and Frankie Ruff of Wellford, SC; his grandchildren, Otis Hutcherson (Kimberly), Ethan Sligh, Xykiera Sims, Takiyah Sims, Peyton Holmes and Reagan Sligh; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Sims of Charlotte, NC; his sister-in-law Sue Clark; his cousin Thomas Sims; and his nephew Kenya Duckett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
