She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henderson and Pauline Henderson; and her brother Fred Henderson Jr.. She is survived by: her son Kevin D. Henderson; her grandchildren, Iesha Henderson, Quaneeshia Henderson and Ikeria Kinard; her great grandchildren, Izzmere, Makaio, Paris, Taraji, Aleah, Jaiden and Kaiden; and her siblings, Shirley Washington, Willie Clyde Henderson, Earline Henderson Broaden, Linda A. Henderson and Geneva D. Henderson.
As a senior citizen she served on the Senior Choir, was a member of the Ladies Aid Society Lodge#36, a member of the Golden Age Ministry, and participated in the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP).
