She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Whitener and Carrie Lee Pressley Whitener; her children, Curtis Sims (Dorothy) of Berkeley, CA, Earl Fisher of Jacksonville, FL and Neddra Cannon (Frank) of Newberry, SC; her sister Angie Davis of Newberry, SC; her grandchildren, Katina Cannon of Newberry, SC, Shannon Sims of Milwaukee, WI and Sean Cannon (Jamie) of Simpsonville, SC; her sister-in-law Ethel Whitener of Newberry, SC; her cousins, Ida Mae Ruff and Shirby Duncan; her niece Sharon Davis; and her friend Eugene Wilson.
