She was predeceased by: her siblings, Sarah Evelyn Riggins Carter and David Riggins, Jr.; and her mother Burnell. She is survived by: her children, Brunell Riggins Gray, Charles E. Riggins of Newberry, SC. and Johnie William Gray of Newberry, SC.; her granddaughter Terria Gray Watts (Terry) of Newberry, SC.; her great grandchildren, Terrell Watts (Tymesha) of Hopkins, SC. and Tevin Watts of Newberry, SC.; her great great grandchild Tegan Watts of Hopkins, SC.; her nephew Bishop Chester L. Carter (Deborah) of Fayetteville, GA.; her niece Lisa Faye Davis (Calvin) of Silverstreet, SC.; her great-niece Misty Riggins Jackson; her great-nephews, Chester L., Cedric L., Robert, Michael, Reginald and David Carter; and also Shameka Riggins Jackson of Silverstreet, SC.. She is also survived by her children, granddaughter, great- grandsons, great-great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (64 Boundary St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh A. M. E. Church (431 Shiloh St, Prosperity, SC 29127). A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Shiloh A. M. E. Church Cemetery (431 Shiloh St, Prosperity, SC 29127).
