She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boyd and Ellen Spotts Clamp; her husband Charles E. Layton, Sr.; and her sister Maybry Evelyn Clamp. She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Layton, Jr. (Cheryl), Lew Layton, Lynn Layton (Ed) and Mary Hawkins (Tony); her grandchildren, Tony Hawkins, Jr., Amy Longshore, Peyton Batson and Amber Ellis; and her siblings, William B. Clamp, Jr., Alton B. Clamp, G. Michael "Mike" Clamp and Marian C. Teseniar. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
