She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marion and Nannie Blair Alewine; her daughter Janice Epting; her siblings, Louise Goggans, Nancy Longshore and James Marion "Buddy" Alewine, Jr.; her grandson Travis Floyd; and her great grandchild Adrienne Woodward.

She is survived by: her daughter Judy Ann Floyd (Bill) of Newberry; her sister Julia Wessinger of Whitmire; her grandchildren, Beverly Summer (Gregg), Faye Woodward and Troy Floyd; her great grandchildren, Trista Baird (Judd), Alex Summer (Brandi), Adam Summer (Rhyan), Brandon Woodward and Dustin Floyd; her great great grandchildren, Judson Baird, Jonas Baird, Jensen Baird and Emerson Summer; and her son-in-law Leland Epting (Patsy).
