He was predeceased by: his parents, Mangle W. Sanders, Jr. and Thomasina Henderson Sanders; his brother Joe Frank Sanders; his grandson Sean Sanders; his parents-in-law, Naomi Fuller and James Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Lyles (Susan Elaine Fuller) and Wilson Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sanders; his children, Takeela Sanders-Douglas, Tyrone Sanders and Mangle Lionel Sanders; his siblings, Minnie Lee Shands, Brenda Scurry, Mary Helen Sanders and Eddie Sanders (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tiyon Sanders, Markel Sanders, Tyrell Sanders, Shauntenise Sanders, Qymaine Sanders, Quaytron Sanders and Tyleik Sanders; his aunt Ruth Fant; his children-in-law, Darlane Sanders and Damien Douglas; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Fuller, Zebbie Lyles, Dorothy Young, Frances O. Fuller, Barbara A. Folks, Sarah Linda Herbert (Kenny) and Kathy Johnson Jammie (Felix); and his close friend Angie Dawkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
