He is survived by: his children, Vontresa "Tracy" Samuel and Niesha Latara Samuel; his grandchildren, Chauncey "CJ" Hardrick, Jr. and Canaan Malachi Hardrick; his siblings, Kathy Brooks of Columbia, SC, Henrietta Samuel of Newberry, SC, Phyllis Ann Ruff of Newberry, SC, Rodney Wise of Newberry, SC and Kenneth Samuel (Jannie) of Prosperity, SC; his siblings-in-law, Alberta Rikard, Barbara J. Samuel, Freda Rhone, Catherine Anne Gray-Samuel, Johnathan Ray Swittenburg and Leroy Robinson; his uncles, John Jones of Whitmire, SC and James Jones of Clinton, SC; his aunt Queen Ester Jones of Philadelphia, PA; his great-aunt Hannah Wilson of Newberry, SC; and his friend Mildred D. Simpkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends he loved.
