He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Shealy and Ruth A. Shealy; and his brother Robert Edward Shealy. He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Boozer (Joe) of Prosperity, Cheri S. Malcom of Newberry and Dale Shealy (Ann) of Newberry; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Long, Kelli Crowe (Matt), Kristi Shealy (Travis Griffin), Clay Shealy (Jennifer) and Garrett Malcom; his great-nieces, Stephanie Spicer (Kris), Madison Rivers, Cadie Shealy, Braylen Long, Riley Crowe, Hattie Waddell-Malcom and Ellie Spicer; and his great-nephew Cooper Crowe.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
