He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lambert and Julia Reames Riser. He is survived by: his wife Donice King Riser; his son Travis Scott Riser (Christy) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Riser Woodard (Ian) of Newberry, Julia Christina Riser (Dylan) of Newberry and Joshua Samuel Riser of Newberry; and his great grandchild Aiden Scott Woodard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home – Newberry (1704 College St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Whitmire (173 Glenn St, Whitmire, SC 29178).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to: Whitmire First Baptist Church, Whitmire, SC 29178 and or Hospice of Laurens County – Via Health Partners.
