He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bennie and Lillie Hawkins Waters; and his siblings, Dorothy W. Hawkins, Bennie Lou W. Shealy, Frank and James Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Aull Waters; his daughter Landy Gamble (Patrick); his grandchildren, Garrett and Rivi Gamble; and his sisters, Betty W. Schumpert and Frances W. Gresham Connelly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Restoration Outreach Church (67 Park St, Newberry, SC 29108). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
