She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Miller; her parents, Homer Elisha and Ethel Adams Schumpert; her daughter Susan Burch; and her siblings, Bill Schumpert and Sadie Elrod.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Leitzsey (Earl) of Newberry and Kay Standridge (Jimmy) of Greenville; her brother Roy Schumpert of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Melissa Charles (J. R.), Patrick Burch (Kristen), Brett Burch, Erica Standridge (Alex Dermody) and Ryan Standridge (Kaitlyn Perry); and her great grandchildren, Emily Charles, Jack Charles and Beckham Standridge.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (2704 Nance St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Newberry Memorial Gardens (15127 C R Koon Hwy, Newberry, SC 29108).
