We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2023, at the age of 87, Hazel F. Hilley of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Ware Shoals, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel F. Hilley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert Lee Hilley; her parents, Roy D. T. Farmer and Ruthie Mae Collins Farmer; and her son-in-law Rev. Vernon Koon. She is survived by: her daughters, Maxine Koon of Newberry and Mona Taylor of Newberry; her brother John Wesley Farmer of Joanna; her close friend Vivian Long; and her grandchildren, Tammy Gibson (Wayne), Tracy Koon, Eiko Hendrix (Chad), Trudy Wilkes (Mark), Hiro Shimoda, Tiffany Adams (Harrison), Dylan Taylor and Jessica Matthews (Rivers). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
