He was predeceased by: his parents, Zannie Creel and Myrtle Langston Ethridge; and his siblings, Betty E. (Jerry Fletcher), Lou Ellen E. (Kenneth Wilson), Shirly E. (Landrow Taylor), Anna E. (Bill Malone), Ella Ethridge, Tommy Ethridge and Johnny Ethridge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacia Ethridge Nance (William Nance) of Greer and Harriet Ethridge Selby (Tim Selby) of Taylors; his grandson Matthew Selby (Atlanta Braves); his wife Sheryl Watts Ethridge; his grandson Matthew Harrison Selby; and his brothers, Roger Ethridge of Traveler's Rest, Billy Joe Ethridge of Georgetown and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
