The memory of Gregory Boyd of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Boyd and Lola Mae Caldwell Boyd; and his brother Howard Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Boyd; his siblings, Danny Frank Boyd, Vickie Mae Boyd and Samantha Boyd; his stepchildren, Teresa James (George), Bryan Clark, Craig Clark and Marcus Williams; his siblings-in-law, Francis Curry, Renee Curry, Judy Bookman, Julius Clark, Andy Williams, James Curry and Chris Curry; and his aunts and uncles, Juanita Abrams, Dorothy Caldwell, Betty Hare (Horace), Annielue Praylow, Jarline Sims, Mary Threatt, Cora Smith, Bobby Caldwell and Aaron Caldwell (Linda). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (110 Broomstraw Rd, Chapin, SC 29036).
