She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Palladini and Lena Bernasconi Palladini; her husband George C. Nelson, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Beth Pearce Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Susan Bowers, Rick Nelson and Larry Nelson (B. J.); her grandchildren, Michael Lawrence "Nick" Nelson, Jr., Matthew Bowers, Benjamin Bowers and Lauren Nelson Sheorn (Bradley); and her close friends, Cathy Derrick Shealy and Jamie Adams.
