He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Goree, Jr. and Mary Ruff Goree Sims; and his siblings, Gracie M. Edwards, Cleo Sims, Carl Melvin Ruff and Curtis Lee Goree.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ann Mayers of Newberry, SC, Deloise Ruff of Newberry, SC, Ruby Cook of Newberry, SC, Gail Turner (Clarence) of Newberry, SC, Willie Thomas Sims, Sr. (Dorothy) of Peekskill, NY and Russell Goree of Newberry, SC; his close friend Elaine Dorley; his aunt Marie Williams; his nephew Wildrick Cook; his cousins, Timothy Ruff, Michael Ruff and Flora Sims; and his brother-in-law Johnnie Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
All in attendance are required to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
