He was predeceased by: his parent Leroy Dean. He is survived by: his parent Geneva Leopard Dean; and his children, Richard Dean of Woodruff, Michael Dean (Sarah) of Easley and Evelyn Hammond (Paul) of Greenville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
