She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Shealy and Annie Meetze Hedgepath Shealy; her daughters, Chrissie Koon and Vendeze Bishop; and her siblings, Elsie Williams, Reba Dennis, Janie Dodgen, Bernice Bedenbaugh and Leslie Hedgepath.
She is survived by: her son Shealy Counts (Dixie) of Newberry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
