We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2021, at the age of 99, Elizabeth H. Shannon of Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Henry Shannon, Jr.; her parents, Blumer P. Hawkins and Mary Elizabeth Sligh Hawkins; her son George Hawkins Shannon; and her siblings, George Hawkins, Jack Hawkins, Dudley Hawkins, Carl Hawkins, Willie Hawkins, Margaret Boozer, Lillie Waters, Sarah Wessinger, Mary Sease and Ruth Lominack.
She is survived by: her son William Henry Shannon, III of Newberry; her niece Rosemary Dominick of Columbia; and her great-nieces, Patty Bobb of Camden and Melba Bowers of Prosperity.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, there will be no receiving of friends at the home.
