With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Boland Parnell Sutphin (Newberry, South Carolina), born in Williston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parent Herman Boland; her son Clinton Parnell; and her siblings, Joe Newton, Audrey Glenn, Vera Roukos and Herman Boland.
She is survived by: her parent Gladys Reese Boland; her husband Alton Sutphin; her children, Pat Parnell-Cagle (Will) of West Columbia, David Parnell (Carol) of Prosperity, Bill Parnell of Inman, Ernie Parnell (Lanette) of Ripley, OH, Vera Duffie (Mike) of Newberry and Gladys Sligh (Bobby) of Newberry; and her daughter-in-law Joy Parnell of South Pittsburg, TN.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
