It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Burton of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Darold "Billy" Burton; her parents, Adam Teseniar and Ida Lowry Teseniar; and her siblings, Alice Frier, Curly Teseniar, Gene Teseniar, Clarence Teseniar, C. M. Teseniar and Earl Norman.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Burton of Newberry and Billie Jo Burton of Newberry; her siblings, Frances Reed of Greenwood and Robert Teseniar (Marian) of Newberry; her grandchildren, Rhonda Johnson, Dianne Fowler, Debbie Fowler and Darold Fowler; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas Fowler, Hagan Johnson and Brooke Johnson.
