He was predeceased by: his spouse Mae Amick Miller; his parents, Frank C. Miller and Thelma Sligh Miller Mr; his son David Milford Miller; his grandson James Fredrick Cook; and his siblings, John Miller, Ophelia Miller Cox Leitzsey and Emmer Miller Hazel.
He is survived by: his children, Pastor Eddie C. Miller, Jr., James Richard Miller, Linda Miller Cook (Marty) of Newberry, SC., Dianne Miller Way (Mack) of Newberry, SC. and Sandra Miller Eargle (Simpson) of Newberry, SC.; his grandchildren, Melissa Cook James (Brian) of Chester, SC, Christopher Kevin Cook (Kelly), Stephanie Miller Yarbor (Brian), Melanie Miller Green (Michael), Danny Miller (Corrine) and Daniel Miller of Newberry; his great grandchildren, Addison James of Chester, SC, Carolina Cook, Patrick Yarbor, Emily Yarbor of Panama City, FL, Dylan Green, Juliette Green of San Francisco, CA and Dylan Miller of Newberry, SC.; and his brother Burnette "Buck" Miller (Freida).
