It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Freeman of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Betty Davis. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Faye Cantrell of Newberry; her granddaughters, Kelly Long (William) and Mandy Barriger of Newberry; her great grandchildren, Freeman, Hunter and Faith Long; and her siblings, Alvin, Artis (Judy), Wayne O'Shields, Alice Maw and Agnes Girardeau.
