Dell Merchant Gunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dell Merchant Gunter of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Taylor and Dorothy Dell McCarty Merchant; and her son Michael Rodney Gunter. She is survived by: her husband Rev. D. Rodney Gunter; her daughter Julie Gunter Waites (Doyle) of Newberry; her siblings, Wyman "Buck" Merchant (Jackie) of Lexington and Luelleyn Rask of Missouri; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Dell Waites and Quintin Gunter Waites. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
