He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Herman Wise and Annie Lee Shealy Wise; and his siblings, George Herman Wise, Jr., Rebecca Wise Fulmer and Glenda Wise Lominick.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Angela Brown (Willard) of Rock Hill, Lynn Dilleshaw (Tony) of Greenwood, Donald Fulmer, Jr. (Becky) of Chapin and Richard "Chip" Lominick, III (Sherry) of Chapin; and his brother-in-law Richard Lominick.
