It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danette Wheeler of Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Harp; her sister Jacqueline Denise Wheeler; and her grandparents, Oliver, Rosie Mae Wheeler, Abraham and Laura Ann Harp.
She is survived by: her mother Catherine Wheeler Williams; her siblings, Donnell, Lonnell Williams, Willie Brown, Stanley Brown and Tasha Harp; her aunts and uncles, Berdie Henderson, Miranda Wheeler, Mae Sheppard, Wilma Tribble (Clyde), Annie Chaplin (Dan), Willie Fred Williams (Barbara), Curtis Wheeler (Jacquelyn), Chris Wheeler (Brenda) and Rev. Michael Harp (Jackie); her cousins, Lisa (Williams) and Sharon Chaplin-Mathis; and her friends, Brenda Alexander and Terri Wright. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
