We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2024, at the age of 84, Dallas Bedenbaugh Merchant of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Saluda, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto K. Bedenbaugh and Sara Lois Buffington Bedenbaugh; her husband Hugh Edward Merchant; and her siblings, Gerald Bedenbaugh, Leoris Bedenbaugh West, June Bedenbaugh Rister and Esther Bedenbaugh Cole.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Merchant Johnson (Jonathan) and Amy Merchant Hawkins; her grandchildren, Ashley Nakwaasah (Wesley), Kelsey Hollins (Carter), Kirsti Yoder (Brandon) and Hunter Hawkins; her great grandchildren, Liam and Declan Yoder; her grandson Wesley Nakwaasah, Jr.; her uncle W. L. Buffington; and her sisters, Brenda Berry of Saluda and Molly Martin (Jimmy) of Leesville. She is also survived by her loving family and friends.
