It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Harmon of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Beech Island, South Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren A. Ivey and Frances Story Ivey; and her siblings, William Anthony Ivey, Loren Abbot Ivey, James Robert Ivey, Jerry Cecil Ivey, Marie Trotter and Patricia Godfrey.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Lee Harmon; her daughters, Nikki Harmon Horne (Mike) of Prosperity and Gina Lynne Harmon of Newberry; her stepchildren, Gary Lee Harmon, Jr. (Mary) of Simpsonville and Nancy Belinda Duncan of Simpsonville; her sister Loretta Johnson of Irmo; her grandchildren, Gary Marshall Horne, Ivey Elizabeth Horne, Michael Kent Stroud, Jr., Ashlye Stroud Parker (Josh), Jackson Lee Stroud and Addi Brooke Darnell; and her stepgrandchildren, Deegee Duncan, Jamie Duncan, Lindsey Duncan, Matthew Duncan and Gary Lee Harmon, III. She is also survived by 10 step-great-grandchildren.
