Folk of Newberry, South Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis W. "Red" Newton, Sr. and Mary Blackwell Newton. She is survived by: her husband J. Wayne Folk of Newberry; her siblings, Dr. Dennis W. "Rusty" Newton, Jr. (Susan) of Lexington and Terry Kay Force (Derrell) of Southport; and her siblings-in-law, David Folk of Newberry, Nedra S. Folk of Newberry and Merrie D. Folk of Prosperity. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
