He was predeceased by: his parents, William Talbert Kennedy and Coline Gibbons Kennedy; his brother Dr. Phil Kennedy; his sister-in-law Iris Kennedy; and his pet Punkin.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie K. O'Cain of Columbia and Jason T. Kennedy of St. Augustine, FL; and his grandchildren, Will, Jack O'Cain, Colin and Sloan Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
