She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison McCullum Morris and Janie Marie Barker Morris; her husband Benjamin Robert Stephens of Charleston, SC.; her brother Judge James McCullum Morris; her spouse Dorothy E. Coleman; her brother Harry Lee Morris; her half-brother Edward Eula Morris; her sister Wanna Mary M. Boykin Elliott (late Bill Boykin); her former husband Earl M. Hyde; her sister Claudia Belle D. Hamby; and also Martha Pierce Morris.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Jane Stephens Dieter; her son-in-law William Robert Dieter; her grandsons, Frederick Robert Dieter and Benjamin Walter Dieter of Portland, Oregon.; her siblings, Roger William Morris (Della Morris) of Charleston, SC and Linda Morris Ross (late David C. Ross) of Dalzell, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Betty P. Morris of West Columbia, SC and Ann H. Morris of Centre, Alabama. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Zion Methodist Church Cemetery (7169 Salem Rd, New Zion, SC 29111).
