He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Nicole Benson of Atlanta, GA, Brittney Johnson of Maryland and Stephanie Johnson of Augusta; his aunt Katie Mae Dandridge of Augusta; and his grandson Simon Benson. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, at 97 Dry Branch Road, Aiken, SC 29803; a community that Leonard held near and dear to his heart.
