It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Chavis Jr. of Neeses, South Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Chavis, Sr. and Virginia Lou McMichael Chavis. He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Hutto; his children, Cindy Gunthers (Jeremy), Angie Louise Ferguson, Richard Lee Ferguson and Vickie Lynn Ferguson; and his siblings, Sandra Sturkie, Pamela Hoover, Carolyn Chavis, Cheryl Black, Ricky V. Chavis and Danny Ray Chavis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
