She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Grimes and Maggie Williams Kinney; her grandchild Davey Blick; and her siblings, Skippy Grimes and Barbara Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Hiott, Jr. (Cindy) and Robin L. Lynch; her grandchildren, Thomas Hiott III (April), Craig Hiott, Corey Mize and Christian Mize Skinner; her great grandchild Elena Hiott; and her sisters, Betty Knight and Alice Chavis.
