She is survived by: her wife Mildred C. Chavis; her sons, Ronnie Carol Chavis (Sheryl) and Christopher Lee Chavis; her granddaughters, Crystal Denise Chavis Brown (Jerry) and Tanya Carol Chavis King (David); and her siblings, Laverne Phillips and Tommy Chavis. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
