It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Richard Shaffer II of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Shaffer and William Richard Shaffer; his wife Carol; and his brother Ronald Shaffer (Germaine). He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Flick (Robert) of Myrtle Beach, SC and William "Bill" Shaffer (Kristi) of Loveland, CO; and his stepdaughter Jaime Seidel (Guenther) of Chicago, IL..
