Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walt Shannon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 82, on August 30, 2023. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; his parents, Walter Shannon and Theresa Shannon; and his sister Carole Dwyer. He is survived by: his children, Kelly White (Jim) of Hugo, MN, Amy Dodson (Bill) of Alexandria, VA and Kevin Shannon (Kathy) of Huntington Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Alex Dodson (Rachel), Adam Dodson (Connie), Bradley and Miranda Shannon; his siblings, David Shannon and Martha Meegan (Dan); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Dwyer and Pat Kenyon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
