She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Elliott Easler; her parents, Everett Gaston Newton, Sr. and Edna Lois Jarrett Newton; her son Ronald Wayne Easler; and her brothers, Charles Alton "Al" Newton and Everett Gaston "E. G." Newton, Jr..
She is survived by: her nieces, Jeanine Turner (Scott) of Myrtle Beach and Karen Newton Fortenberry (Keith) of Gulf Port, MS; and her sister-in-law Lynn Newton of Myrtle Beach.
