With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Carol Herndon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Beaver, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Ford and Roma Lucile Vaughn Ford; her former husband Ernest Gregg; her husband Bill D. Herndon; her sister Roma Jean Garner; and her son-in-law Tony L McGaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ethel "Louise" Gregg of Carrboro, NC and Katherine McGaw (Chuck Rome) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her son-in-law Mark Hamilton; her grandchildren, Jimmy McGaw, Megan Hamilton (Shay Piper), Cody McGaw (Jennifer Gac) and Violet Hamilton (Jessie Gingerich); and her great grandchildren, Jamie McGaw, Alex McGaw and Marcus Hamilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
