Stephanie Nichole Smith Obituary
Stephanie Nichole Smith (30) Departed for heaven from Grand Strand medical center due to health complications in the early morning of June 21st 2021. Born at 5:23pm on May 23rd 1991 in Conway, South Carolina.
Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Graduating early from SCAIHS (South Carolina Association of Independent Home Schools) she continued pursuing her education at Coastal Carolina with her focus on Biochemistry and joining the research team.
In her free time she enjoyed spending time on the beach, traveling, knitting, scrap booking, concerts, spa days with her daughters, family ice-cream nights, daily prayer with her mother and bickering with her little (big) sister.
Stephanie was undeniably a social butterfly in every aspect of life, wither it was winning runner up of little Miss South Carolina or participating in sports, Girl scouts, youth ministry, music and drama there was never a social setting she did not thrive or excel in. Carrying herself with the grace and kindness to rival any saint she spread her love and wisdom to anyone within reach, forming new connections was her second language which she proved to be true by never truly meeting a stranger.
With the onset of her illness in her early twenties she drew strength from her faith, herself and through her family, those close to her bared witness to her truly incredibly resilience and determination to overcome her struggle, never losing hope not only for her sake but for her two daughters who she loved more than life itself.
Leaving behind her life partner Charif Arabe, two daughters Kaylee Thompson and Amina Arabe, her mother Sharon Petersen, a brother Stephen Smith, a sister Savannah Petersen and her grandparents Kenneth and Gladys Petersen.
Preceded by her father Steve Smith, paternal grandparents Hallie and Louise Smith, maternal grandparents Samuel and Virginia Wray and maternal uncle Eddie Wray.
Her service will be held at McMillan-Small funeral home on Thursday at 2pm July 1st please arrive a few minutes early.
