He was predeceased by: his siblings, John and Dale. He is survived by: his wife Susan Dixon Higgins; his children, Joel Higgins (Laura) and Amanda Moon (Brian); the mother of his children Alice Faye Skeens; his granddaughter Molly Moon; his children, Kelley Jones (Jessica), Meredith Adkins (James) and Matt Jones; and his grandchildren, Jillian Rapp, Hayden Jones, Joshua Adkins, Luke Adkins, Andrew Adkins, Maddox Jones, Makenna Jones and Mila Jones.
