He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Troy Dixon (Jene) and Kelli Fookes (Paul); his grandchildren, Blake Dixon (Ann), Dr. Kaylee Dixon, Abigale Fookes (Matthew) and Daniel Fookes; his niece Deneen Inman (Randall); his brothers, Tom Dixon and Tim Dixon of Maryland; and his nieces and nephews, Stacy, Heather, Scott, Mark, Dale and Timothy.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ocean Woods Cemetery (2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
