It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Domenica Kirsch of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Crognale and Elda Crognale. She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Kirsch of Myrtle Beach, SC; her daughter Christina M. Messino (Sam) of Wolcott, CT; her granddaughters, Sophia Messino, Ella Messino, Gianna Messino and Ava Messino; and her siblings, Lola Crognale (Bruce Barcic) of Pittsburgh, PA, Anna Marie Balistreri (Mike) of Columbus, OH and Walter Crognale (Ellie) of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526).
