In loving memory of Richard John Semmens of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who departed this world on July 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne; and his parents, Ernest Semmens and Eleanor Semmens. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Lynne Steadman (John), Richard Haydn Semmens (Laura) and Erica Jane Chrustic; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Steadman, Ethan Steadman, Emily Semmens Moreno (Ruben), Duncan Semmens, Jennifer Hanks (Pat), Scott Sullivan, Evan Chrustic, Thomas Chrustic (Kristen) and Andrew Chrustic; his great grandchildren, Sophia Chrustic, Shea Hanks and Leah Hanks; and his sister Dr. Marjorie Semmens.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Lowcountry Food Bank, Food Lion Feeds Northern Regional Food Center, 4716 Northgate Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
