He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Silvis and Carolyn Silvis; his wife Joyce; his children, Thomas Richard Silvis, Paul Raymond Silvis (Kathleen) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Deborah Silvis Chapman (Chris); his granddaughter Morgan Chapman of Winnsboro, SC; his stepgrandson Ben; and his sister Nancy Wiltrout (John). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Socastee United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 30787, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 Remains will be laid to rest in Rural Valley Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA at a later date.
