It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Webb Furey (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn W. Webb and Richard F. Webb, Sr.; her parents-in-law, Virginia R. Furey and Dan H. Furey, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Betty Webb.

She is survived by: her husband Dan H. Furey, Jr.; her children, Brenda F. Mills (Steve), Glenna Neal (James) and Dan H Furey III; and her brother Richard F. Webb, Jr.. She is also survived by her grand children (7) and great grand children (11), as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Braylyn Furey, her 2 year old great granddaughter, who is currently fighting brain cancer. Donations can be sent via Venmo, to her mother, Erika Elston, at: @erikamaria123 or CashApp: $erikamaria015.

“I am so sorry that Peggy has passed away. I never thought I would find her in an obituary. She was a very sweet lady when I knew her and that’s when Dan was stationed in Panama City, Florida. She volunteered at the Tyndall AFB Hospital and that’s where we met and became friends. I was a Medic at the hospital Clinic. All three of he kids were very young and her girls were in my wedding! Dan was fun to be around as well. My love to Dan, Brenda , Glenna, and Danny. Rhonda Rickman Giambrone”
