He was predeceased by: his wife Rhonda Ackerman Furr; and his father Robert A. Landa. He is survived by: his parent O. Fayrell Furr, Jr. of Conway, SC; his children, Stormy Furr of Conway, William Kyle Furr of Columbia, SC and Paul Holder of Selma, NC; his sister Karolan Ohanesian (Glenn) of Surfside Beach, SC; and his stepsister Shannon Bobertz (Jason) of Columbia, SC.
